Tate Construction Company LLC has completed a residential pool cover replacement in northwest Albuquerque. The project replaced the existing cover fabric on an automatic-cover installation, giving the homeowner a new tan cover while keeping the work focused on the existing pool.
The before photographs document the old cover across the pool, along with the recessed cover compartment, leading bar, controls, and operating equipment. The fabric showed visible discoloration and wear. Recording those existing conditions helped define a replacement project around the pool and cover system already in place.

This close-up shows the old cover’s torn edge and exposed, frayed fabric beside the leading bar—the damage addressed by the cover replacement.

A pool-cover project starts with more than choosing a fabric color. The cover dimensions, attachment details, and existing equipment need to be understood so the replacement fits the installation. Tate’s project documentation addressed replacement vinyl and ropes, gliders and pulleys, and access to the cover compartment.
For this home, the work centered on the automatic pool cover rather than a pool remodel. The existing pool, surrounding concrete deck, and backyard setting remain recognizable in the completed photograph.
The completed-project photograph shows the replacement cover extended across the pool. Its tan finish fits naturally with the surrounding concrete and masonry. The before and after photographs show the same pool from different viewpoints, documenting the change from the old fabric to the completed replacement.

If your existing pool cover is worn or damaged, Tate Construction can evaluate the installation and help define an appropriate replacement scope. Fabric replacement and mechanical repairs are separate considerations; the condition and compatibility of the existing system determine what your project needs.
